Staff Members of the Month for October
This month we have chosen to honor all three of our high school lunch ladies as a way to say “Thank You” for all of their hard work in preparing our daily meals, and we are happy to introduce them to you.
Mrs. Ruth Magee is in her 24th year of cooking at Liberty-Benton High School. Her hometown is Benton Ridge, and she has been married to Weldon for 40 years. They have five children: Jeremiah (Kayla), Christopher, Ryan, Kaitlyn (Matt), and Kelsey (deceased). She is also Grandma of 2: Briggs and Bryer.
Ruth enjoys working at LB with the students and staff and people in the kitchen. She is looking forward to Kaitlyn and Matt’s wedding and to someday retiring. She enjoys sewing, snowmobiling, and spending time with family.
Mrs. Wendy Gonso is in her 22nd year of cooking at Liberty-Benton High School. Her hometown is Benton Ridge, and she is the proud mother of Kendra and son-in-law, Nick. She has a three-year-old grandson, Conner, and another grandson arriving in March. She also has two dogs and a cat.
Wendy enjoys working at LB with the wonderful students and staff. She appreciates how welcoming, encouraging, and friendly everyone is. She is looking forward to watching her grandsons grow up. She enjoys baking, gardening, and completing Pinterest projects.
Mrs. Donna Wilson is in her 7th year of cooking and working as cashier at Liberty-Benton. Her hometown is Findlay, and she is married with two sons, one grandson and one granddaughter. She has two Golden Retrievers and a cat.
Donna enjoys interacting with the kids at LB, and she is looking forward to retirement. She enjoys going to the lake, boating, and fishing with her granddaughter and walking with her dogs.
