Camden Courtney's Art Selected for Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition

Congratulations to Liberty-Benton High School senior, Camden Courtney. Her oil painting titled, “Dessert at Boston’s” was selected for display in the Ohio Governor’s Art Exhibition. The works were judged by a panel of seven college educators and artists from the midwest. Exhibition in this show is an outstanding honor because over 11,000 high school art entries were submitted and the judges narrowed these pieces down to the very best 300.

Exhibition in this show is an outstanding honor because over 11,000 high school art entries were submitted and the judges narrowed these pieces down to the very best 300. Camden’s painting will be one of the 300 prestigious pieces featured in the Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus from April 22- May 16. High school seniors, like Miss Courtney, who are planning to major in visual art post-graduation can receive scholarships ranging in value from $100-30,000.
