CCP Student & Parent Presentation: CCP Student & Parent Presentation: The CCP meeting for the 2025-2026 school year was held January 22. If you were unable to attend, but have a student grades 6-11 planning on taking College Credit Plus (CCP) courses here at LB, at Millstream, or at the college during the 2025-2026 school year the attached PowerPoint presentation must be gone through. The mandated yearly CCP Intent to Participate, LBHS Mandated Counseling, and Textbook paperwork is on the last slide of the PowerPoint presentation. These forms MUST be completed and returned to the counseling office by Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in order for students to take a CCP course during the 2025-2026 school year. Millstream: Sophomores, Millstream Career Center application deadline for initial consideration is now closed. The application is still open. Financial Aid Information: Mrs. Herr met with seniors during LEAD on October 23 to go over basics of financial aid and how to create the FAFSA ID that is needed by both students and parents. Having this completed prior to the November 21 FAFSA meeting is a great way to get started on the financial aid process. LEAD Presentation Financial Aid Meeting: This year’s FAFSA presentation will be during Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, November 21 @ 6:30pm. This is a great opportunity to meet with your students' teachers then move to the Auditorium where Melanie Weaver, Financial Aid Director at Ohio Northern University will be presenting. This is not an ONU presentation, but how to navigate the Financial Aid process. I highly recommend attending, especially if you own a family farm there have been many changes to the FAFSA.
