Hancock Youth Leadership: HYL is a program designed for students to gain valuable experience and develop crucial leadership skills. The program has session days covering different topics including Health & Human Services, Agriculture, Arts & Media, Diversity, Justice & Law, and Business & Economic Development. HYL takes place during the junior year, sophomores now is the time to apply. Let me know if you have additional questions. HYL Application The Deadline is March 15. CCP Student & Parent Presentation: Was held on January 23, 2024 in the Auditorium. This presentation was for students currently in grades 6-11 planning on taking College Credit Plus (CCP) courses here at LB, at Millstream or at the college during the 2024-2025 school year. If you were unable to attend, you need to go through The CCP PowerPoint.
The mandated yearly CCP Intent to Participate and LBHS Mandated Counseling forms for all CCP students are on the last slide of the PowerPoint presentation. If you are planning on taking an online or at the college course, there is also a Textbook form. These forms MUST be completed and returned to the counseling office by Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in order for students to take a CCP course during the 2024-2025 school year. Community Foundation Scholarship: Seniors, The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation Universal Application deadline has passed; however they are aware of the issues with the FAFSA. If you have completed you Universal Application, don't forget you have until March 15 to submit your Student Aid Report.

Millstream: Sophomores, Millstream Career Center application is open. If you are interested in attending Millstream during your Junior and Senior year, now is the time to apply. Millstream Application The Priority deadline was January 19. Students may still apply, but acceptance will be based on availability.
Financial Aid Meeting: January 17 Melanie Weaver, Financial Aid Director at Ohio Northern University presented about the changes to the FAFSA.
