Millstream: Sophomores, Millstream Career Center application is open. If you are interested in attending Millstream during your Junior and Senior year, now is the time to apply. Millstream Application The Deadline is January 19.
Financial Aid Meeting: There are a LOT of changes to this year's FAFSA. There will be a FAFSA presentation on January 17 @ 7:30pm in the Auditorium. Melanie Weaver, Financial Aid Director at Ohio Northern University will be presenting. This is not an ONU presentation, but how to navigate the Financial Aid process. I highly recommend attending, especially if you own a family farm.
If you need more help completing your individual FAFSA, Owens Community College offers help sessions.
CCP Student & Parent Presentation: Tuesday, January 23, 2024 @ 7:30pm in Auditorium This presentation is for students currently in grades 6-11 planning on taking College Credit Plus (CCP) courses here at LB, at Millstream, or at the college during the 2024-2025 school year. Representatives from Rhodes State, Bowling Green, Owens, The Ohio State University and University of Findlay will be here. My recommendation is for students taking a CCP course for the first time to attend the meeting with their parent/guardian. Returning CCP students may either attend the meeting or go through the PowerPoint presentation with their parent/guardian. The PowerPoint will be added here on January 24. The mandated yearly CCP Intent to Participate, LBHS Mandated Counseling, and Textbook paperwork will be available at the meeting on Jan. 23 for those in attendance. They will also be on the last slide of the PowerPoint presentation. These forms MUST be completed and returned to the counseling office by Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in order for students to take a CCP course during the 2024-2025 school year. Please contact me with questions or concerns.
