Practice Sight Words Each Night!
Sight words are everywhere!! Make sight words a game! Try to make sentences using them, write them in chalk outside, and write them in lipstick on your bathroom mirror, the possibilities are endless!! Have your child say the word, then spell it, then write it!!

Talk About and LOVE Reading
Ask your child questions about the stories they are reading! Engage in conversations around books and let them see you reading too! If they know that you love reading, their love will continue to grow. Also, asking questions will help make sure your child understands what they are reading!
