LBHS Staff Member of the Month for May

Mrs. Amy Teders is currently in her 10th year of teaching English at Liberty-Benton High School.  Previously, she had taught for five years in Mohawk Local Schools.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a major in English at Bowling Green State University.  She earned her Masters of Arts degree in Education from Heidelberg, and she is currently working on her Masters of Arts in English from Ohio University.

Mrs. Teders grew up in Bowling Green, Ohio, and he has been married for fifteen years to Randy.  They have three children: Luke and Isaac in 6th grade at LB, and Madison in 2nd grade, Mrs. Fish’s class at LB.

Mrs. Teders likes being the coach and guide as students take ownership of their learning.  She loves to see “the lightbulb” go off when students get it.  She enjoys being here with her students to help them in any way she can as they trudge their way through high school.

She is looking forward to remaining cancer-free, the day when her children can get along, finishing her master’s degree from OU, summer vacation, and taking the family to Disney during Thanksgiving break.  She enjoys reading, shopping, camping, bowling, and spending time with her family.
